YES Supported Accommodation Service

Provides crisis accommodation for young people aged 15-18 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless (referrals will also be considered for young people up to the age of 19). Young people under 15 may also be given accommodation depending on individual needs. Focus is given to family re-unification if possible. Primary crisis accommodation, referral, support and advocacy available for residents and ex-residents as needed. Crisis intervention, case management, assistance/education, health, hygiene, financial, employment and social services.
Outreach assistance also available to people aged 15-24 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless through YES Supported Accommodation Assistance Program. This assistance is provided through a case management model, supporting young people to find suitable and permanent accommodation, or to maintain at risk tenancies/accommodation. Support is also provided through advocacy.
